the beginnings of a nursery

An empty room now has a purpose! We started with a dresser from Ikea and then put the crib together. Well, I can’t say we. Drew did all the work. The dresser is probably the most complicated one sold at Ikea – it took him like 6 hours over two days to put it all together. The crib was a lot easier.

Of course, the cats felt like they needed to help. Maeby made sure to shred the crib box to pieces.

And Margot thought she was helpful by just relaxing in the box and batting at the packaging – her favorite thing to do.

“Mmm, these wooden dowels are yummy. I must chew on them.” -Maeby

Next purchases – a crib mattress and a glider!

So cute Leigh Ann! I really like the furniture you choose. PS – I’m following you on Twitter now via @Threads4Hope – my new biz w/Garrett. We still have a lot of work to do though 🙂

Hey Leigh Ann, love the new baby furniture. Before long, it will be filled with baby stuff.
